Industrialist’s digital arrest: ED apprehends 1, searches 11 sites

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has conducted searches across five states in a money laundering case linked to the digital arrest of industrialist S.P. Oswal. One individual, Rumi Kalita, was apprehended in Assam and remanded to ED custody. Investigations revealed that cheated funds were channeled through mule accounts, with Kalita allegedly managing these accounts for a percentage of the illicit gains.
