hybrid work can be an ideal model for India, as it can provide employees with flexibility and freedom while also maintaining high productivity levels. Some benefits of hybrid work include:  

  • Improved work-life balance: Employees can balance their personal and professional lives.
  • Increased productivity: Employees can choose their work hours and location, and they can come into the office when in-person collaboration is best.
  • Reduced overhead costs: Companies can reduce office space or move to smaller cities.
  • Better employee experience: Employees can be more engaged, which can lead to less turnover.
  • Improved safety and social distancing: Offices can be designed to emphasize safety and sanitization.

Some best practices for a hybrid work schedule include:

  • Letting team leaders and employees set the parameters for remote work
  • Offering some flexibility with hours
  • Setting schedules at the team, department, or company level  
  • Above  are few steps that would certainly improve the situation and would prove helpful for all.

However, hybrid work is not a fit for every workplace or industry. It’s best suited to employees whose work is computer-based and doesn’t need to be performed on site.  @parashars
