Gallup’s Life Evaluation Index categorizes respondents based on their present life situation and future outlook into three groups: thriving, struggling, and suffering. Thriving individuals have a positive current life situation and a positive outlook for the next five years.

Those classified as struggling have uncertain or negative views of their present life, marked by stress and financial concerns. Those suffering report significant distress and a lack of basic necessities, alongside a negative future outlook.

In South Asia, only 15% of employees feel they are thriving, with India showing one of the lowest rates at 14%, just behind Nepal at 22%.

एक संयुक्त परिवार के घर में 5 से 95 वर्ष की उम्र के 14 लोग रहते थे।

आज, हम दोनों घरों को परित्यक्त और प्रकृति को उस बगीचे पर कब्ज़ा करते हुए देख रहा हूँ जहाँ माँ प्रतिदिन घंटों देखभाल करती थी। जामुन, सहजन, कुछ अशोक, नीम और पीपल के पेड़ बच गए हैं, लेकिन सारी सुंदरता क्षणिक और नाजुक दोनों है; और एन्ट्रापी का नियम शक्तिशाली है। असंख्य रंगों के प्यारे फूल सभी ख़त्म हो गए हैं।आश्चर्य है कि उस मोर परिवार का क्या हुआ जो हर दिन आता था और माँ के हाथ से खाता था। बुलबुल, गौरैया, तोते, फ्लाईकैचर्स, कोयल, बंदरों का एक बड़ा समूह, जो महीने में एक बार जगह की व्यवस्था को बिगाड़ देते थे।

*एक बार जब लोग चले जाते हैं, तो घर (Home), घर (House) बन जाता है*। शुरू में बेचने का मन नहीं था और अब भी जाने का मन नहीं है। समय ने इसके 14 में से 10 लोगों को छीन लिया।

अपने आस-पड़ोस में घूमता हूं और ऐसे कई घरों का भाग्य देखता हूं जो कभी जीवन से भरपूर थे, अब बदल दिए गए हैं या वैसे ही पड़े हुए हैं।
