Airline refund pain: DGCA proposes changes to bring relief to flyers

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is proposing new rules to improve passenger refunds, aiming for airlines to process refunds within 21 days, even for tickets bought via travel agents. Passengers may also get a 48-hour window to cancel or amend tickets without extra charges, except for fare differences, for flights booked directly with airlines.
